Classic design never goes out of style. The traditional oiled wall nut broth is a tribute to the history of Tikka. The checkers ensure a good grip, meaning you can be more confident in your shot.
Tikka T3x Hunter offers 18 caliber options and multiple barrel lengths from 510 mm to 620 mm (20" - 24"). There are almost 300 different Tikka T3x Hunter variations. You can choose a blued or stainless steel barrel, normal or knurled. The winged barrel makes the rifle lighter to carry, improves heat dissipation and balances the rifle.
Hunter family stocks have been made from select walnut stocks and the oiled finish is easy to maintain. Regular oiling keeps the stock in good condition and lasts from generation to generation.
The lighter barrel makes the rifle easier to transport. Lighter barrels are easier to hold for long periods
Cold hammer forging produces accurate and durable barrels. During cold hammer forging, Tikka barrels are hammered from all sides against the mandrel inside the barrel, transferring the mirror image of the machined rifling onto the surface of the mandrel. The cold hammer forged barrel gives you out-of-the-box accuracy without needing to break the rifle.
Extremely stiff action made from hardened steel with a T3x two-lug bolt. The bolt features a spring-loaded plunger ejector and removable bolt handle, with a 70° opening angle leaving plenty of room to handle the bolt.
In every shooting situation, the rifle always moves slightly, especially when the trigger is pulled. This is why it is essential that the rifle trigger be manufactured to very tight tolerances. The rifle's minimum trigger lockout time decreases the time between trigger engagement, trigger break, and firing pin impact on the primer. This results in excellent rifle trigger control and increased accuracy potential.
