Oak wood is a hardwood, especially for insects and fungi thanks to a high content of tannin. From French farms, it presents a yellowish brown aspect, with straight and regular veins. The varnished handle is protected from stains and moisture.
The Sandvik stainless steel 12c27 put to point by Opinel is famous for its cut and its ease of use. Stainless steel is able to undergo the heat treatment that gives its great durability and is called martensitic.
