LEUPOLD Mark 5HD 7-35x56 M1C3 Front Focal TMOA Plus Scope

Everyone knows the enormous range of scopes that the North American manufacturer LEUPOLD has in its catalog, covering the entire spectrum of use: hunting, sports shooting, defensive, tactical or professional. The LEUPOLD MARK 5 is one of those scopes that clearly fall within the category of professional scopes for tactical use. Although it is true that given its extraordinary characteristics, it lends itself to a wide range of uses given its tremendous versatility.

There are several aspects that make this viewer different from the rest. It is one of the lightest scopes, with a large difference in weight with the heaviest optics in its segment, this variation can be up to 600 g. The light acquisition is much superior, making the days start earlier and last longer than is normal in other scopes, due to its extraordinary behavior in low light. Available in professional-type TMOA Plus reticles in first focal plane. Its 35 mm tube together with its three-turn elevation turret allows height correction of up to 100 MOAs, this is the best proof that it is an optic for long distance. With an ergonomics-first design: with more tactile adjustments, audible clicks, larger numbers and a high-speed magnification lever to quickly select the most appropriate magnifications for each shot.

This reference of the MARK 5HD 7-35x56 uses a TMOA Plus reticle design, in the first focal plane (FFP).



Characteristics:

• Design subjected to the Punisher, a recoil simulation machine exclusive to LEUPOLD, which subjects each model to 5,000 impacts. Each impact has a force of three times the recoil of a .308 Win rifle. The models are analyzed after the brutal test, and any necessary design adjustments are made afterwards.
• Fast-Focus rapid focusing system for the eyepiece.

• The CDS-ZL2 (Custom Dial System ZeroLock2) system for the height turret is easily operated to quickly establish positions, just press the locking button while turning. In addition, the system allows easy reset and therefore return to the starting position very quickly.
• Parallax adjustment with side wheel for quick and easy focusing from any shooting position.
• The first focal plane (FFP) reticle allows you to extend the distance at all magnification settings. These reticles are ideal in tactical situations, but also provide greater distance estimation accuracy for hunters and sports shooters.
• The adjustment measurement of the turrets is ¼ MOA , that is, 7.27 mm. correction at 100 m. Prepared to accept a lever on its magnification ring to make almost instantaneous magnification changes.
• The 1:5 magnification range offers a lot of versatility in use for the viewfinder. Provides a wide field of view at low power and accurate target identification at high power.
• Roulette for regulating the lighting intensity, with clear clicks and clear intensity level indicators. All scopes in the Mark range also include off positions between each illumination intensity jump, to allow a quick return to your preferred brightness setting.
• Twilight Max HD twilight management system, for perfect color balance and image contrast. It eliminates 90% more brightness with front light, but allows you to extend the hunting time due to its behavior in low light conditions. It offers a perfect image from edge to edge, even at the highest magnification, which is where a scope shows its weaknesses or, in this case, strength.
• It is designed to operate at long distances, thanks to its M1C3 adjustment system, with three turret turns, which allow up to 100 MOAs of height correction and 50 MOAs of drift adjustment.
