Blaser Dual-Brake muzzle brake for R8 or R93 rifles.
The muzzle brake reduces recoil and improves the stability of the weapon when firing. This Blaser Dual Brake or muzzle brake reduces the twisting and elevation of the weapon by approximately 35% to 40%. Its installation can be done afterwards. The use of muzzle brakes must be combined with hearing protectors.
The Dual-Brake muzzle brake diverts much of the powder gases from the direction of fire. These deviate to the side as well as up and down at a rearward angle. This causes a forward force to act on the muzzle brake and therefore the barrel, which reduces recoil. Depending on whether you shoot with or without a muzzle brake, the point of impact changes. Therefore, the point of impact should be checked each time the muzzle brake is applied and when firing again after removing the muzzle brake.

The Dual-Brake muzzle brake is designed for use on Blaser hunting rifles whose barrels are factory equipped with a muzzle thread.
