The clever

The comfortable 90mm eye relief of this scope minimizes the risk of eye injuries from recoil on large caliber rifles. The Intelligent Variable Dot (IVD) is an invaluable aid during hunting where instant vision of the target is required when it is rapidly approaching. Thanks to the lens it can be used even at twilight, making it a versatile scope for hunting anywhere in the world.

  • Only with both eyes open can hunters' peripheral vision track game and ensure a safe shot. This scope offers this advantage thanks to its true 1x magnification.
  • Large field of view of more than 40 m
  • Large 10mm exit pupil with 1x for quick target viewing
  • Wide zoom range
  • The 28mm lens diameter allows for 7x magnification with a 4mm exit pupil. This improves the field of vision even in poor light conditions.
  • Reticle in the first focal plane : the reticles have been specially designed to be placed in the foreground of the image, in order to make the focus and visualization clearer and sharper. Its excellent design reduces the magnification of the crosshair to a maximum, allowing precise shots to be taken at long distances without the objective being obscured by it.
  • iC lighting control : If the R8 has an iC device, pressing the safety button to the fire position will automatically activate the illuminated spot.
  • The 1-7x model exclusively presents the new IVD (Intelligent Variable Dot) system : when we position the scope between 1 and 4x, the illuminated dot will be larger, thus making it more visible to provide us with more effective and intuitive casts in hunts. and monterías. Situational awareness and intuitive target acquisition will be faster and more effective.

ZERO TOLERANCE

Reticle in the first focal plane
To obtain the highest possible shooting accuracy under all conditions, technical solutions are needed in which factors that reduce accuracy are already excluded due to the construction. This applies not only to the firearm and scope mount, but also to the lens optics themselves. A good example of such a coherent design are the notches to fit the Blaser saddle mount: They are placed directly on the barrel, thus resulting in ideal integration of the optics to the barrel. The philosophy behind the design of Blaser scopes is "zero tolerance". Only with scopes that have a reticle in the first focal plane, the point of impact cannot be changed when changing the magnification due to its special design. The reticle is superimposed on the lens image before the moving parts of the zoom system come into play.

In modern scopes, the reticle is usually located in the second focal plane, near the eyepiece. This design solution is usually chosen due to its cost-effectiveness. However, its disadvantage is that mechanical tolerances can cause deviations of the impact point when changing magnification.

To meet the highest requirements when it comes to precision, Blaser scopes deliberately present the reticle in the first focal plane - in front of the magnifying lenses. Only with this design, mechanical tolerances do not influence the point of impact when the magnification is changed.

PRECISION IN THE DETAILS
The reticle revolution

Reticle in the first focal plane, fine reticle structures with minimal target subtension even at the highest magnifications, illuminated dot visible in daylight, adjustable to extreme light conditions: From daytime in winter to night hunting. The bold bars of the reticle, which affect vision at high magnifications, were until now a disadvantage when placing the reticle in the first focal plane. Thanks to the innovative Swiss phase grating technology, it was possible to realize low reticle undertension with the Blaser scopes - even at high magnifications. In combination with the illuminated dot, which can be adjusted due to visibility conditions, a perfect balance is achieved to support precise shooting in all hunting scenarios.

FAST AND INTUITIVE

Calculate distances easily
When seconds matter, first focal plane scopes are the preferred choice for shooters who will use reticle subtensions to estimate distance to the target. This tried and true method eliminates complicated mathematical formulas and allows you to easily estimate range or use the correct hold point for a long-range shot. As with reticles in the first focal plane, the distance between the reticle bars relative to the size of the target remains constant at whatever magnification you choose. Your scope will become a tool with which you can estimate shooting distance at lightning speed.

FOCUS ON THE ESSENTIALS
iC Lighting Control

If your Blaser R8 bolt-action rifle has an iC safety slide, pushing the safety slide to the ready-to-fire position automatically activates the illuminated dot on all Blaser scope models.

IC CONTROL DE ILUMINACIÓN

FAST ON TARGET

IVD – Intelligent Variable Dot

The Blaser B1 1-7x28 iC is the most advanced performance level additionally equipped with an Intelligent Variable Point. Rough terrain, bad weather, and high levels of stress will test even the most experienced hunter. The illuminated spot's dual output feature is just the answer you've been looking for. At low magnification power, 4x and below, the illuminated spot is larger in size and ideal for fast-moving hunting, providing ideal situational awareness and intuitive target acquisition. The DIV spot intensity can also be adjusted using a side-mounted turret.

QDC - Quick Distance Control

Shooting at very long ranges while hunting is more the exception than the rule. However, there are situations where long-range shooting may be necessary. Well, when you are technically prepared to be able to stay on target and not have to aim higher. The reticle adjustment of Blaser scopes has been specially developed for this purpose. Its highly precise yet robust mechanics provide consistently reliable repetition accuracy.

ZERO SETTING AT 100 MO GEE (MOST FAVORABLE ZERO SETTING RANGE): BOTH SETTINGS ARE LOCKABLE.

PARALLEL COMPENSATION: INVOLUNTARY ADJUSTMENT IS NOT POSSIBLE.

The parallax adjustment turret is also protected against unintentional movements. The turret is locked for a distance of approximately 100 m. The turret is also graduated for distances greater than 100 m and is easily removed to select the desired distance.
