And like all Leupold rifles, it is designed, machined and assembled in the USA and is covered by the Leupold 30-year warranty.

It is a scope that, taking into account its magnification level, type of target and weapon for which it is intended (AR-15, AR-10 and similar), allows a maximum effective range of up to 800 m. Although users who choose it will undoubtedly operate at much shorter distances, it is a very comfortable scope for working in the 400 m range.

It is a perfect scope for this type of rifle, due to its lightness and dimensions, being located one step above the typical Tri-gun sports optics or Close Quarter Battle (CQB) tactics. It can also perform well in the hunting field, for those who prefer reduced weight and compact size, in a scope for stalking at medium distances.

The tactical type reticle and second focal plane (SFP), which is proportional for distance calculations at its maximum magnifications. Its good optics with several proprietary treatments, including the Twilight light management system, mean that few scopes in this price segment offer high-level performance in twilight hours.

The eye relief and the “eyebox” are the hallmarks of the LEUPOLD and this scope was not going to be an exception. It is very easy and quick to find the eyepiece facing that offers a complete and clear view of the image it transmits.

Given its tactical vocation, the turret for height correction is uncovered. The corrections are in MILs, 0.1 MIL per click, which translates into a variation of one cm at 100 m. The clicks have a very good feel and have a correction range of 125 MOAs.

The Mark 3HD™ offers Leupold's legendary performance and reliability, but with a certain level of specialization. Intended for users of AR-15, AR-10, VZ-58, etc. type rifles. who are looking for a relatively inexpensive tactical optic, but great performance at medium distances.



Characteristics:

- 30mm tube. Made of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum.

- Design subjected to the Punisher, a recoil simulation machine exclusive to LEUPOLD, which subjects each model to 5,000 impacts. Each impact has a force of three times the recoil of a .308 Win rifle. The models are analyzed after the brutal test, and any necessary design adjustments are made afterwards.
- Twilight Light Management System: Helps you see more in less light, and also provides great color consistency and superior lens clarity.
- Military grade protective coating, extremely durable, resistant to scratches, water, dirt and fingerprints.
- Turret adjustment is 0.1 MIL, that is, 1 cm of correction at 100 m.
- Correction range of 125 MOAs (36.4 MILs) in both height and drift.
