Sako TwinHead II ammunition is loaded with Swift A-Frame lead-tipped, brazed-jacketed, dual H-core, flat-bottomed tips.

The Sako Twin Head II cartridges have a design designed around their H shape. The front core is welded and separated from the rear by the jacket itself, obtaining an aerodynamic tip at the front and a flat base at the rear.

Sako Twinhead II bullets are famous for combining three essential characteristics in this type of ammunition that are critical to performance: Controlled expansion, deep penetration and around 95% weight retention at any velocity.

Sako Twinhead II bullets have been designed for large animals and Safari hunting.

All Sako ammunition has been loaded at its Rihimaki plant in Finland since 1921, guaranteeing the application of the latest technology, as well as know-how acquired over generations. All Sako and Tikka rifles are tested at the said production plant with Sako ammunition. , guaranteeing precisions less than 1 MOA in all test sets.

Sako cases are of high quality, which are famous for their heat treatment that, in addition to recodium, provides the smallest microstructures of the brass, so that maximum precision and repeatability of shots are guaranteed, maximizing their useful life.

The simple base powder used in the loading of Sako bullets is tested batch after batch in the ballistics laboratory, guaranteeing maximum homogeneity between batches of ammunition of different production. Likewise, the ignition times and power of the pistons are given maximum care prior to their loading approval on the assembly line.
