The SOG Baton Q4 is a revolutionary multitool. Flip the conventional idea of folding pliers or a Swiss Army knife with various tools. SOG went back to the drawing board and started from scratch. Looking basically: what is needed? What is the greatest ease of use? What tools do you often need together? The result is an unconventional multi-tool that can be useful in many different ways. A tool to use inside and outside the home, on the road or in the office.
The SOG Baton Q4 has ten different tools. There are too many to describe them all in detail, but we will highlight the most important tools.
The SOG Baton Q4 has pliers in the center. You pull on the "pen" and the spring loaded pliers will come out. The pliers are made up of 3 parts: a needle nose pliers, a standard pliers and a wire cutter. Other tools are accessible from the outside. A knife, screwdrivers, bottle opener, can opener, file and a few other useful tools.
The value of the Baton Q4 is the chuck. The black end contains a chuck. Not just one, but a ratchet that can handle standard 6mm bits. Very practical to take with you in such a compact design. On the side, you will find a two-sided bit (flat head and philips head). This tool seems a bit hard to reach, but if you hold it on one side, it comes out the other. The tool also includes another 12 bits of different sizes.
Thanks to its size, it can be carried like an ordinary ballpoint pen, slightly larger. On the side you can find another pocket clip that ensures you never lose it. The SOG Baton Q4 is certainly not the most conventional tool on the market, but it is a very practical addition to your EDC rotation.
You can carry the SOG Baton Q4 with the included case. It contains two strong magnets that keep it closed.
