APEL Blue-line pivoting frames : The famous and reputable German frame manufacturer APEL-EAW, presented in 2019 a new frame system grouped under the name BLUE-LINE. Their main characteristic is that they are cheaper than the traditional product from this German manufacturer. Which does not mean that quality has been renounced. Since this new range of frames uses the same materials, the same manufacturing tools and the same quality controls.
The secret to all this lies in the design of the front foot and its simplified manufacturing process. In the traditional model, the foot and ring are a single piece, obtained from the complex machining of a block of steel. Subsequently, the foot and ring are cut, obtaining two pieces that fit absolutely perfectly, but are not interchangeable with others due to small differences. In the traditional system, the perfect fit of the pieces provides unusual rigidity and structural solidity.
On the contrary, in the case of the BLUE-LINE family, foot and ring are two different pieces, which are machined more easily and quickly from two blocks of steel.
APEL-EAW, thanks to the precision of these mounts, guarantees the maintenance of the scope's zero, even after hundreds of shots. Furthermore, the material used is the same steel. Also mention that there are small differences, with the traditional model, regarding the finish and polishing.

The removable APEL mounts are automatically removed in a second and can be placed and removed as many times as desired, always leaving the scope within reach.
