The synthetic diamonds we use are ideal for sharpening any type of steel and are considered some of the most durable and effective abrasive materials on the market. When using the standard grain diamond grinding disc for the first time, some excess diamond particles linked to the production process are released and the diamond disc thus acquires the roughness that will be maintained thereafter. If used properly, there is no need to replace it.
The coarse grit diamond disc is three times coarser than the standard grit, so it is also more abrasive. It is ideal for quickly sharpening the dullest knives, as well as for correcting slightly damaged blades.
