All bolts on Prima series rifles are CNC manufactured, head treated and chrome plated for long lasting performance. The three-lug breech head ensures a reliable shooting experience with different types of ammunition. The Prima semi-automatic rifle is gas powered.
The unique detent pin on the trigger housing gives you the advantage of easy removal of the housing. The crisp trigger provides confidence on longer shots. The reduced number of parts of the trigger group ensures smooth operation in any conditions. The trigger guard is made of fiber reinforced polymer for use in extreme conditions.
The receiver structure is manufactured in two parts: the upper receiver and the lower receiver. The upper receiver is made of 1.4140 steel and the lower receiver is made of high-quality aircraft aluminum. In this way, while the weight of the rifle is reduced, the resistance force is simultaneously increased. The barrel chamber is easily accessible when disassembling the rifle for cleaning.
The barrels are made of 1.4140 QT steel. The ribbing is buttoned according to CIP and SAAMI standards. The bore and outer barrel are chemically treated against corrosion. There are three different lengths of barrels, 51, 56 and 61 cm. The barrel attaches to the receiver using DBS (Detachable Barrel System) which allows you to change the barrel in seconds by simply unscrewing the barrel positioning nut on the receiver.
The fiber optic sights are fully adjustable for elevation and windage. Aim is controlled on the reading sight and elevation is controlled on the front sight. The sights are made of steel and CNC machined. You can remove the sights by simply loosening two screws when you don't need them.
