The modular system of the S 404 allows changing the stock and barrel in a fraction of a second. With Sauer's SUS universal key, which is a folding allen key integrated into the swivel sling of the S 404's detachable handguard, you can easily and quickly exchange calibers and stocks according to your needs.

The ergonomically perfect manual cocking system of the S 404 provides comfortable and quiet cocking. By simply pressing the button with your thumb, the cocking slide silently slides into the disarming position. To open the bolt in the disarmed position, simply hit the cocking slide.

Adjustable trigger weight
An adjustable trigger with four different, individually adjustable trigger weights is the perfect answer to the chain of physiological effects of knowledge and action. Pressure levels of 550, 750, 1,000 or 1,250 g (1.2, 1.6, 2.2 or 2.7 lb) leave no doubt that your S 404 is programmed for success even before the shot.
Hit the target safely thanks to the adjustable trigger blade
All successful competition shooters know: only the optimal position of the trigger finger on the trigger blade provides a proper shot and a controlled shot without the risk of missing the target. With an adjustment range of 8 mm (0.3˝) for length of pull and a left-to-right swing range of 5 degrees, the S 404's extra-wide trigger blade guarantees every shooter optimal contact for hitting. on target reliably.

Precision cold hammer forged barrel for guaranteed accuracy.
The barrel and receiver are made in Isny/Germany. Each barrel is cold hammer forged and therefore ensures our accuracy of less than one MOA.
Our receivers are manufactured using the latest CNC milling technology, to perfect the symbiosis of the barrel and receiver, as well as Sauer's legendary smooth bolt operation.
