URSUS is the basic model of the professional range of roof prisms from KITE OPTICS. These are versatile and easy-to-use binoculars, designed for daily use and with a comprehensive 30-year warranty. The optical system benefits from the KITE MHR coating. A coating system that provides complete multi-coating on all lens surfaces as well as a highly reflective coating on the prism. The result is excellent color balance and a bright, sharp image.
The KITE URSUS is completely waterproof and filled with nitrogen gas, which eliminates any possibility of condensation inside. Its chassis is completely covered with a resistant rubber armor that provides the instrument with optimal protection against bumps and shocks.
The soft-touch rubber armor is designed to provide maximum grip in the right places. The instrument is ultra-light and well-balanced, making it very comfortable to hold, handle and carry all day. The short hinge design allows your fingers to wrap around the barrel, and use the instrument with just one hand.
The Ursus is equipped with 4-level metal eyepieces to optimize viewing comfort with or without glasses. The metal eyepieces are covered in soft rubber and are removable.
