With Calonox thermal cameras, Leica continues its long and successful track record in optimizing digital images and extends its excellent reputation as a camera manufacturer. Leica's own image processing (Leica Image Optimization - LIO™) enhances the image with special algorithms, thus achieving particularly detailed color gradations, excellent contrast and high detail resolution.
The exceptional recognition range of the Leica Calonox Sight is based on a high-end vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor with 384 x 288 pixels and a pixel size of 17 µm with excellent temperature resolution.
Four color modes for high-contrast detail recognition. Calonox incorporate four field-proven color modes: vivid red, vivid white, vivid black and rainbow, providing the hunter with extremely detailed, high-contrast images to accurately identify game.
Large field of view and powerful digital zoom
Calonox View and Sight thermal cameras have an astonishingly large field of view – for a better overview when shooting from blinds or on the prowl. The Leica Calonox View features a magnification range of 2.5x to 10x, so game can be reliably detected and identified at any time.
Connectivity: Calonox applications
The two Calonox apps allow you to operate thermal cameras quickly and easily: The Leica Calonox View can store photos or videos of all observations and transfer them to a smartphone via WLAN. For easy zeroing, the Leica Calonox Sight can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth and controlled remotely in the app.

Three calibration modes to optimize the image
With the three built-in calibration modes Auto (A), Manual (M) and Background (B), you can restore, update and enhance the image on the screen. In A and M modes, shutter calibration is initiated automatically or, if desired, manually at the touch of a button. Background calibration with a covered objective lens is particularly efficient and achieves the best results.

The powerful 1280 x 960 pixel HD display allows for comfortable observation and reliable identification when stalking or shooting from blinds. The permanently installed rechargeable battery with approx. 5 hours of power are particularly well protected against cold and humidity. And charging is possible during operation, e.g. by using a power bank.

Adapter rings and zero setting
To make full use of the Leica Calonox Sight as an accessory, you need adapter rings to match your scope.
With clip mode, you can adjust the section of the screen for use with your scope. To enable successful zeroing, reticle correction helps accurately align the screen with the scope's reticle. The remote function of the Calonox Sight app helps you with this.
