Attention - Important note!
On older rifles in particular (e.g. Mauser 98), the height differences between the case head and the bridge vary greatly. This may require compensating the height between the front and rear foot, for which the EAW Pivot Stand provides an extremely simple means through the vertical tolerance compensation invented by EAW. All you need to do is replace the bottom of the rear foot
rear (RFB).

Recommended value for replacing the RFB: Every 0.5 mm change in the height of the RFB moves the point of impact about 0.5 m to 100 m away.
Available rear foot bottom heights range from 3.5 to 15 mm in 0.5 mm steps.
Instructions:
To remove the RFB, unscrew one of the support screws and use the other to push the RFB to the side as far as it will go. Now place a piece of wood or similar material underneath and remove the RFB completely.
Reverse these steps to install the new bottom. Remember to remove the burnishing from the contact faces first.
To readjust the bracket, first loosen the pivot screws (14 + 15) (see pivot bracket instructions) and fine-tune the bracket according to the pivot bracket instructions.
