BLACKHAWK launches the next evolution of duty holsters that follow the “Master Grip” principle: the T-SERIES.

Blackhawk products are respected and revered by top military and law enforcement personnel around the world. Part of the Blackhawk team has spent the last few years cloistered in its Bozeman (MT) facility, taking its knowledge and quality engineering to its highest level, to create the latest line of holsters for police and military service: the T-Series™.

The T-SERIES is the next evolution of holsters that follow Blackhawk's “Master Grip” principle. This principle is based on developing holsters that require few body movements to extract the weapon or, in other words, fewer manipulations with the fingers and hands to release it. One thing that slows down any user of this type of holster when it comes to drawing their firearm in self-defense is the number of steps it takes to do so. Something that can mean more time to repel aggression, in situations where this variable is always decisive.

The “Master Grip” Principle provides a critical benefit to end users, because it complements intuition, the user will never have to relearn how to use their equipment. As the user positions themselves to access their weapon, their hand lands exactly where it needs to. With its optimized thumb-activated retention, the T-SERIES keeps your firearm ready while maintaining total safety.

The thumb push button on the left side, for a holster for right-handed operators, simultaneously disengages the guard on the rear of the slide and the trigger lock mechanism. This allows access to the weapon with a single quick movement, it is not necessary to perform multiple manipulations on different buttons by hand, there is only one.

The internal, low-density, low-friction material allows for smooth, effortless removal, while the exterior provides high durability with a patented glass- and polymer-reinforced nylon coating that provides a soft touch. This durable material provides protection with a sleek design for minimal size and bulk.

The T-Series holster, similar to others offered by Blackhawk, has several Phillips screws on the back of the holster, allowing the user to tilt or tilt it if desired. Like any other holster with retention systems, if someone tries to steal your gun while it's holstered, they won't be able to. If someone tries to pull the firearm while it is in the holster, the 3 levels of safety mechanism will keep it inside. If someone savagely attempts to remove the firearm and after failing to do so, they begin to hit or press the thumb switch, the firearm will not be extracted either.

In order to remove a firearm from the T-Series holster, the firearm must be in the rest position when the thumb switch is activated or at least a small amount of downward pressure must be exerted. If during the struggle for the holstered weapon the thumb switch breaks, the weapon will be locked. This protective measure was implemented specifically for law enforcement officers, as it is one of the common occurrences our police officers face.

Available in Level 2 or Level 3 configurations, it adapts to any need. This new line of holsters is just the beginning of the anticipated innovations coming out of Blackhawk this year. There are plans to launch compact, lightweight, RMR scope compatible versions within this new T-SERIES family.
